Job Description

We are seeking a monitoring, evaluation, learning and communications officer to provide support across these sites.

This is a one-year contract attached to specific projects, with the possibility of renewal.

Qualifications And Requirements

• Experience in the monitoring, evaluation and communications, preferably in the NGO context
• Including in qualitative and quantitative dimensions: skills in data collection and analysis
• A relevant degree and honours or higher-level qualification
• A driver’s license and willingness to travel to various sites and work there for a period before returning to the main office in Pietermaritzburg
• Ability to communicate in isiXhosa/ isiZulu
• Experience and proficiency in the use of Excel and general data analysis
• Experience in using digital tools for data management and communications
• Good analytical and writing skills with attention to what specific audiences in communities are interested in
• Very good verbal facilitation and communication skills
• Attention to detail and the application of methods in a systematic way.
