Job summary

TIH is hiring an Applications Software Developer in Johannesburg to develop, modify and optimize software solutions for business needs. You will analyse requirements, design or customise software, and contribute to maintaining and improving applications to support operations and client service.

The role emphasizes strong programming skills with at least 3 years’ experience, plus beneficial Azure familiarity. A relevant technical certification or degree is expected.

Qualifications

Grade 12/ SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential); A recognised software development certification/degree/diploma (Essential)
3+ years experience using relevant programming languages or technologies (Essential); Azure experience (Advantageous)

Responsibilities

Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialised utility programs.
Analyse user needs and develop software solutions; design software or customise software for client use.
Maintain road map to facilitate application software development and ensure prioritisation.
Monitor, identify, and correct straightforward software defects to maintain functioning applications.
Perform routine website/applications tests and address performance issues; implement security measures.
