R45–R65 per month (negotiable, based on experience). Johannesburg, South Africa.
Responsibilities
- Deeply understand the technology and features of the Drivex Customer and Driver Apps.
- Develop expert knowledge of the needs of township and urban users, integrating accessibility and language support into product design decisions.
- Conduct continuous user and market research to extract human‑centric insights.
- Translate behavioural patterns, merchant/pilot feedback into functional improvements and new features.
- Own the full product design lifecycle: create user journeys, low/high fidelity wireframes, clickable prototypes, and feature documentation that communicate clear user flows and interaction principles.
- Share product updates with design, engineering, and business teams.
- Document workflows and present prototypes to leadership in ways that simplify technical complexity and enhance cross‑functional collaboration.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mobile product or interactive design management.
- Excellent interpersonal, cross‑functional and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of transport, e‑commerce, or logistics application trends.
- Ability to produce wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and handover assets.
- Strong problem‑solving and prioritisation skills with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrable record of shaping and delivering shipped consumer‑facing apps.
- Bachelor's degree in Product Design, UX, HCI or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Zeplin, Illustrator, Miro or Sketch.
