Job summary

A leading mining technology company is seeking a Mining Technology Consultant in Centurion. It all starts with people. People like you. Join us aMining Technology Consultant. You will play a key role in implementing Epiroc’s mine scheduling platform for mining clients by aligning it with business goals, configuring the system, testing, training users, and ensuring adoption.


Your Mission


  • Understand client needs and how the solution adds value.

  • Help design and implement the mine scheduling solution.

  • Configure the system according to standards and project plans.

  • Support testing of software and solutions.

  • Create and deliver training materials.

  • Assist with software adoption aligned to client processes.

  • Improve implementation methods and procedures.

  • Stay updated on Epiroc software and promote its use.

  • Join value assessment and proof-of-value activities.

  • Support standardization of configurations across clients.

  • Keep records of configuration plans and changes.

  • Provide frontline client support and log tickets.

  • Follow Epiroc’s adoption methodology.

  • Map current and future client processes when needed.

  • Share feedback to improve Epiroc products.

  • Participate in internal and client‑facing testing cycles.


Your Profile


  • A tertiary (degree or diploma) in Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other applicable engineering qualification or related qualifications in Mine Technical Services (Geology, Survey, etc.).

  • Proven practical mining exposure which includes exposure to mine planning, design, and scheduling processes.

  • Experience working in a consulting environment preferably in a mining environment.

  • Experience with business or mining related implementation projects.


This position is a contract position for 12 months.
