Job summary

Gold One Group Limited in South Africa seeks an experienced Mining Production Supervisor to oversee blasting and production targets in trackless mining operations. The role requires planning, supervising subordinates, ensuring equipment and material availability, and adherence to MHSA safety standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Blasting Certificate for Metalliferous Mines, Grade 10-12 (NQF4), 2-3 years trackless mining experience, and a valid SA driver's license.

Qualifications

• Grade 10–12 or equivalent NQF4.
• Valid Blasting Certificate for Metalliferous Mines.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in Trackless Mining.
• Experience in TMM, Conventional Development, Stoping and Hydropower drilling.
• Mining Production Supervisor Certificate is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English and other official languages.
• Computer literacy is advantageous.
• Code 8-10 SA Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and best practices within Mining Section(s).
• Ensure blasting activities are executed efficiently to achieve targets.
• Plan, supervise and control subordinates on stoping and development.
• Ensure equipment and materials are available to optimize production.
• Adhere to MHSA standards and Gold1 safety motto.

• South African Driver’s License (Code 8-10) essential
• South African Citizenship

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and best practices within Mining Section (s)
• Ensuring that all blasting activities within the designated area of responsibility are efficiently executed and controlled to promote effective production goals and reaching set targets.
• Ability to plan, supervise and control subordinates on both stoping and development ends.
• Ensure equipment and material availability in the area of responsibility in order to optimize production.
• Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1’s safety motto : “Nothing is so important that it cannot be done safely”
