Qualifications

• 10 years’ mining experience, with at least 10 years in management.
• Strong background in hard rock/mechanised mining & large excavations.
• Proven track record of meeting and improving production and safety targets.

• Accountable as the 3.1(a) appointee under the MHSA.
• Lead mining operations to deliver on safety, production, and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

• Sound knowledge of trackless development
• Leadership strength, problem-solving ability, and resilience in a unionised environment
• Have knowledge and understanding of Contract management

• Take accountability as the 3.1(a) appointee under the MHSA
• Lead and manage mining operations to deliver on safety, production, and profitability
• Oversee planning, drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, and related activities
• Ensure strict legal and regulatory compliance
• Mentor and guide departmental heads, driving a culture of continuous improvement
