This role will involve working closely with various stakeholders, including government agencies, environmental consultants, and local communities, to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement mine closure and rehabilitation plans in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess the progress of rehabilitation activities and identify any potential issues.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders, including government agencies, environmental consultants, and local communities, to ensure alignment on closure and rehabilitation strategies.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on best practices for mine closure and rehabilitation activities.
• Monitor and report on the environmental impact of mining operations, including groundwater quality, soil erosion, and vegetation growth.
• Conduct training and awareness programs for employees on mine closure and rehabilitation practices.
