What youll be doing

Primary Function Maintenance Execution & Breakdown Resolution

Plan and execute routine servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on electro-mechanical plant equipment timeously and cost-effectively. Attend to breakdowns promptly, prioritize urgent jobs, and perform accurate fault-finding on mechanical and electrical systems. Ensure optimal operation, monitoring, and condition reporting of all electro-mechanical plant assets. Primary Function Systems, Assets & Compliance

Ensure adherence to the Maintenance Information System (Service Manager) and maintain an up-to-date, clearly marked Asset Register. Enforce strict Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act standards, ISO system requirements, and high housekeeping standards. Assist with specifications, equipment sourcing, quality control, pricing, and execution for new mechanical and electrical installations. Secondary Function Inventory, Control & Reporting

Ensure specified, approved, and contractually required stock and spare parts levels are maintained. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, interpret operational data, and prepare plant condition reports. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and apply sound human resource and control procedures.

What youll need

Residing in or within reasonable commuting distance of the Vereeniging / Vanderbijlpark area.
