Job description

We are seeking an experienced Millwright Team Lead to manage installation and fabrication projects. This hands‑on role involves leading technicians on‑site coordinating project execution and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Strong mechanical, electrical, welding and PLC troubleshooting skills along with proven leadership experience are essential.

Job Description

• Lead and manage technicians on site driving productivity and quality
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance installations and repairs
• Diagnose and resolve issues through PLC fault finding and troubleshooting
• Welding and fabrication projects ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Mentor and train team members promoting continuous improvement and skills development
• Collaborate across departments to optimize processes and reduce operational costs

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years experience as a qualified millwright in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• At least 2 years experience in a supervisory or team‑lead role
• Strong knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques
• Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards

Qualification

• Millwright Trade Test (essential)
• Additional technical training or certifications advantageous
• Valid passport and drivers licence
