Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
• Conduct fault-finding on motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, bearings and other industrial equipment.
• Maintain and repair machinery to minimise breakdowns and unplanned production downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify potential equipment failures.
• Install, align, assemble and commission machinery and mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical control systems and industrial equipment.
• Participate in planned maintenance shutdowns and respond to production breakdowns.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics and equipment manuals.
• Identify recurring faults and recommend improvements to equipment reliability and performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs and parts used.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with applicable safety standards, company procedures and relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure optimal plant performance.

Employment stability is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of commitment to previous employers, preferably with five years or more spent at the same company.

Remuneration

R33,000 CTC per month.
