Job summary

Headhunters is seeking a trade-tested Artisan (Electrician or Millwright) with at least 3 years post-qualification experience in a mechanical environment. The role involves preventative maintenance, fault-finding, and the repair of equipment across the workshop and plant.

Applicants should be prepared to plan their own work, work overtime and shifts, and possess a Code 08 driver’s license with reliable transport. Basic rigging and working at heights credentials may be required.

• Trade tested Artisan (Electrician or Millwright) with relevant post-qualification experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to health and safety, environment, quality and housekeeping.
• Execute preventative maintenance and breakdown work.
• Plan and organise own work efficiently.
• Apply fault-finding techniques and repair equipment defects.
• Maintain and repair mechanical parts, components and equipment as directed by management.
• Carry out workshop fabrication, equipment assembly and installation.
• Attain and maintain licenses/authorisations for duties (e.g. basic rigging, working at heights).
• Lead a team if required.
• Conduct regular plant inspections.
