Job summary

A leading food processing company located in Mpumalanga is seeking a Millwright who will be responsible for attending breakdowns and performing routine maintenance on plant and equipment. The successful candidate must have a minimum N3 qualification and a trade certificate as a Millwright. Additionally, computer literacy and reliable transport are required, while experience in the food processing industry and refrigeration plant knowledge are advantageous. This role includes management of subordinates and may require weekend and holiday work.

The Ideal Candidate Would Be Responsible For

• Attending to breakdowns on relevant machines;
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance of plant and equipment;
• Attend to breakdowns on plant and equipment;
• All relevant planned and preventative maintenance, inspections;
• Management of subordinates.

The Successful Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements

• Minimum N3 qualification;
• Be in possession of a trade certificate as a Millwright;
• Must be computer literate;
• Must be prepared to work weekends, shifts, and public holidays when necessary;
• Experience in the Food Processing Industry would be an added advantage;
• Refrigeration Plant Room experience will be an added advantage;
• Scales / electronic experience will be an added advantage;
• Must have own reliable transport.
