Job Duties

• Conduct mechanical and electrical maintenance on a variety of industrial machines
• Diagnose faults and perform necessary repairs quickly and efficiently
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals
• Ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with the onsite maintenance and production teams

Requirements

• Trade-tested Millwright qualification (Red Seal advantageous)
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an industrial or engineering environment
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results under tight timelines
• Immediate availability is essential. Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently within the two-week timeframe
• Must reside in or near Pietermaritzburg and have reliable transport
