Placements24 is assisting a prestigious family in Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa, to find a dedicated Nanny and Early Childhood Educator for two children aged 3 and 5. The caregiver will plan engaging learning activities, supervise safety, and support daily routines in a nurturing home environment.

The ideal candidate holds an ECE qualification, current First Aid/CPR, and a valid driver’s license, with excellent references and a patient, reliable demeanor. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a nanny or early childhood educator.
• First Aid and CPR certification (current).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to undergo background check and police clearance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, reliable and responsible with children.

Responsibilities

• Plan age-appropriate educational activities for 3 and 5-year-olds.
• Supervise safety indoors and outdoors.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks.
• Assist with daily routines and transportation if needed.
• Maintain tidy play areas and rooms.
• Communicate progress with parents.
• Administer basic first aid when needed.
