Bestmed Medical Scheme in Midrand, Gauteng, is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently to local and regional destinations. You will be the face of the company during deliveries, uphold professional standards, and ensure timely, accurate handoffs with customers.

The role requires a valid SA driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 25 kg. This position offers on-site work in Gauteng with potential overtime and benefits as part of

Qualifications

• Valid South African Driver's License (Code 10/EC) with PDP.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Familiarity with the Midrand area and surrounding routes.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 25kg).
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Operate a company vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely arrival at destinations across Gauteng and surrounding areas.
• Load and unload goods carefully, ensuring packages are secured and undamaged during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, obtain customer signatures, and handle any delivery discrepancies professionally.
• Provide exceptional customer service, acting as the face of the company during deliveries.
