Midlevel Operations Solutionist BreakdownThe roles and responsibilities for the departments under your responsibility will be company-wide, as Operations is a cross-company dynamic that affects the entire organisation. Responsible for the Driver, Logistics, Operations, Compliance, and Fleet departments. The core themes associated with your role: Consolidation, Company Elevation, Solution Deployment and Advancement. Essentially, the business is growing rapidly and has been building and launching projects that have been capturing opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Revisiting these projects is now essential for consistency, quality, customer retention, and increased profitability.
- A key role here is to consolidate: Ensure project dynamics and operations are being followed.
- Evolve systems and protocols.
- Analyse for optimisations of company resources.
- Elevate the competency in the supply chain.
- Highlight weaknesses and feed this up the line.
- Be a live / hot-ready solutionist.
- Push the agenda of advancing the Operations Department.
- Ensure company coherence and leadership.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Years of experience: 1+ years experience.
- Education: Relevant Tertiary education would be advantageous.
- Core Roles and Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations, improve efficiency, drive innovation, and raise workforce professionalism.
- Operational Oversight and Process Optimization: Oversee departments such as Driver, Logistics, Fleet, ensuring processes and protocols are followed, and optimize operations for efficiency and cost reductionpany Culture Advantage: Formalize best practices, evolve methodologies, and create daily habits of excellence.
- Problem Identification and Solution Development: Analyze business processes, identify issues proactively, and develop solutions to prevent disruptions.
- Driver Supply: Reformat onboarding processes for drivers and vehicles.
- Strategic Planning and Innovation: Develop and implement operational strategies, collaborate on company goals, and execute plans effectively.
- Quality and Risk Management: Maintain high standards, manage risks, and ensure business continuity.
- Training, Support, and Performance Reporting: Provide team training, support, and generate performance reports to inform decisions.
