Job summary

Open Window in Midrand, South Africa, is seeking a Mid-Weight Designer who thrives on big ideas and boundary-pushing concepts, delivering exceptional execution across branding, marketing, digital, print and content.

You’ll work directly with an experienced Creative Director and Digital Strategist, handling projects from concept to delivery while pushing brand guidelines and exploring new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Own reliable vehicle, laptop and Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.
• Experience across branding, marketing, digital, print and content creation is a plus.

We’re looking for a talented Mid-Weight Designer who lives for big ideas, boundary-pushing concepts, and exceptional execution. If you’re the type of designer who simply follows trends, this isn’t for you. We’re after someone who creates them.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll work across branding, marketing, digital, print, and content creation for a range of exciting clients, taking projects from STRONG concept through to final delivery.

Design & Marketing Skills Required:

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• A strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking and design excellence
• Exceptional design eye and attention to detail
• Image retouching and editing
• Content creation
• Managing projects from client briefing through to production and delivery
• Working within brand guidelines while finding creative ways to push them further
• Designing weekly email marketing campaigns
• Identifying trends and opportunities before everyone else does
• Basic marketing research including audience insights, competitor analysis, and market gaps
• Understanding of digital marketing platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google
• Community management and daily engagement across social platforms

• Photography skills
• Video or motion design experience
