Role Summary

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Mid-Weight Graphic Designer with strong video editing skills to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating visually appealing designs and compelling video content. This role requires a balance of creativity and technical proficiency, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Design Creation
  • Develop visually appealing designs for a variety of media, including digital, print, social media, and advertising.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualise and execute design solutions that align with client objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Produce high‑quality design assets, including graphics, layouts, and visual elements.
Editing and Proofreading
  • Review and edit design content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Proofread text elements within designs for grammatical and spelling errors, ensuring all design materials are error‑free and ready for final production.
  • Solid experience with editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, Illustrator, Audition).
  • Video editing: follow outline, script or shot list and assemble raw video footage into cohesive videos.
  • Create motion‑graphic videos and add motion graphics to enhance videos.
  • Input effects, graphics, dialogues and music into videos to make them more appealing.
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximise efficiency.
Project Management
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
  • Maintain organised files and documentation for all design projects.
Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Senior Designer, Creative Director, and other team members to brainstorm and develop creative concepts.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving design processes and outcomes.
  • Provide constructive feedback to junior designers and assist in their development.
Technical Skills
  • Utilise design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver) and other relevant tools to create and edit designs.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continually improve design skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities
  • Brainstorming and understanding human truths, consumer insights, ideas, and concepts with other members of the creative team when necessary.
  • Understanding a client’s brief and objectives to relay them through well‑thought‑out design.
  • Understanding the client’s tone, strategy, and CI to write according to different styles, mediums, and tones that match our client’s audiences.
  • Generating original ideas that grab the audience’s attention.
  • Knowing and understanding our client’s products, target audiences, and competitor activities in the market.
  • Ability to design various design options, which may be presented to the client.
  • Modifying designs until the client is satisfied.
  • Accuracy is essential.
