Your Role at OpsArmy

As a Mid‑Market Sales Development Representative (SDR) you will be a vital force in expanding our reach and driving significant growth. You'll strategically identify and engage mid‑sized businesses, particularly within the ecommerce and fintech sectors, who can benefit from OpsArmy's comprehensive operational solutions.

This is a highly impactful outbound role for a driven individual ready to leverage their sales acumen in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. It is a contract‑to‑hire opportunity with the option to convert to full‑time after 3 months, based on performance and mutual fit.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Strategically identify, research, and prospect into mid‑market companies, focusing on ecommerce and fintech merchants, through multi‑touch outreach campaigns.
  • Execute highly personalized email, phone, and social outreach to engage key decision‑makers and generate qualified sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with our Sales team to align on target accounts, messaging, and overall sales strategy.
  • Understand and articulate OpsArmy's value proposition, tailoring messages to address specific business pain points and operational needs.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quotas for meetings booked, qualified opportunities created, and pipeline generated.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities and manage your pipeline effectively using provided tools and processes.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activity, and the evolving landscape of business operations, especially within ecommerce and fintech.
  • Provide actionable feedback to marketing and sales leadership to continuously improve targeting strategies, messaging effectiveness, and campaign performance.
What Would Set You Up for Success
  • 2–4 years of experience in a BDR/SRD or outbound sales role, with a strong preference for candidates targeting mid‑market accounts in SaaS, ecommerce, or fintech environments.
  • Demonstrated success in building robust sales pipelines and consistently booking meetings with VP+ level decision‑makers.
  • Strong understanding of sales funnel principles and effective lead qualification strategies.
  • Proficiency in managing and tracking sales activities and pipelines using organizational tools.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills across all mediums—written, verbal, and visual—with the ability to clearly articulate complex value propositions.
  • Highly organized, coachable, and driven to grow into a closing sales role.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote work setting and manage time across diverse regions.
  • Proactive mindset with a keen interest in learning about new industries and operational challenges faced by growing businesses.
Compensation

This is a commission‑only contract role with unlimited potential. You will earn up to $USD per qualified sales opportunity, maximizing income directly through your successful outreach. Conversion to full‑time after 3 months will include a competitive base salary and performance‑based incentives.
