Job summary

Strategic Dimensions is seeking a Mid-Level Python Developer & Business Analyst to design, develop, and implement business applications using Python and the Odoo ERP framework. The role blends software development with client engagement to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

You will work across the full SDLC, build new Odoo modules, integrate systems, and support testing and documentation while collaborating with clients and project managers to ensure successful deliveries.

Qualifications

Degree in CS/IS/SE or related field.
Minimum 3 years' software development experience.
Experience with object-oriented programming principles.
Exposure to Odoo ERP or a willingness to learn the platform.
Experience working with ERP systems.
Good understanding of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
Experience working with SQL.
Ability to understand, maintain and improve existing codebases.
Experience with Git or other version control systems.

Responsibilities

Analyse business needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology.
Assist with solution design workshops and stakeholder meetings.
Prepare system documentation, technical documentation and user guides.

About the Role

As a Mid-Level Python Developer & Business Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing business applications primarily using Python and the Odoo ERP framework. You will work closely with clients, project managers and fellow developers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Software Development
