About This Role

Are you a problem-solver with a passion for IT support and client service? Our client is looking for a Junior–Mid Level IT Support Engineer (Field Technician) with 3–5+ years' experience. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for clients — handling logged calls, troubleshooting issues, and providing both remote and onsite support. This position is all about service excellence: clear communication, quick resolution, and maintaining strong client relationships. What you will do
  • Respond to and resolve client support calls quickly and effectively, keeping clients and management updated
  • Provide both remote and onsite technical support in a professional and friendly manner
  • Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues, even in high-pressure situations
  • Share knowledge, collaborate with the team, and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Work occasional "after-hours" shifts when required
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity and deliver added value to clients
What we are looking for
  • 3–5+ years' experience in IT support (desktop and field-based)
  • Strong Windows desktop OS knowledge (Windows)
  • Beneficial: Windows Server, RAID, Active Directory, and server hardware knowledge
  • Networking knowledge (managed switches, fibre, VPN, wireless; Ubiquiti and Ruijie beneficial)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft (Admin, Email, OneDrive, SharePoint)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of PBX solutions (beneficial)
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical issues in layman's terms
  • Experience with call logging systems, excellent time management, and strong problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proactive IT support engineer ready to take on a client-facing field role
