Job summary

A well-known staffing agency in Durban is inviting applications for a warehouse position requiring a valid MHE driver's license and 1-3 years of relevant experience. Candidates should be able to handle physical demands, communicate effectively in English, and work well in teams. Duties include loading and unloading pallets, administrating machine maintenance, and adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification.
• A valid MHE driver's license (forklift, reach truck, PPT, or order picker).
• At least 1 to 3 years relevant experience, preferably in a Dry Goods or Warehouse environment.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to cope with the inherent physical demands of the position.
• Ability to work under pressure and independently.
• Must be able to work well within a team.
• Must take ownership of area of responsibility.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime and/or shifts when required.
• Reliable transport to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Ability to move and stack, load and off-load both empty and full pallets in a safe and orderly manner.
• Completing administration regarding MHE operator machine maintenance.
• Providing a high level of service to customers.
• Sorting of pallets.
• Performing stand-in duties and assisting with stock-takes when required.
• Maintaining and adhering to relevant Health, Risk & Safety regulations and Quality standards.
• Maintaining effective housekeeping standards.
• Ensuring compliance with SOPs.
• Adhering to good housekeeping practices.
