Job Summary

The Metering Sales Manager leads sales activities across the organization, drives revenue growth, ensures compliance with industry standards, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative water solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training & Development – Conduct training for new team members, design ongoing programs, coach performance, and address skill gaps.
  • Sales Management – Set targets, track performance, implement strategies to increase sales, analyze data, and report to senior management.
  • Customer Relations – Deliver excellent service, resolve complaints, maintain key client accounts, and improve customer experience.
  • Inventory Management – Monitor inventory levels, coordinate purchasing, reduce costs, and conduct audits for accuracy.
  • Team Mentorship – Mentor junior team members, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and foster growth and skill development.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in water metering, with at least 2 years as a people‑leader in a similar industry.
  • Experience dealing with utilities and/or municipalities.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in sales tools and software (e.g., Salesforce, CRM systems, SAP).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis techniques.
  • Ability to develop and implement sales strategies and plans.
  • Ability to travel as required.
