A leading retail hardware business is seeking a Merchandising Specialist for its Harbor Springs location. This role requires a friendly personality and a basic understanding of merchandising in a retail environment. Responsibilities include maintaining merchandising standards, updating price tags, and providing exceptional customer service. What to expect:
Like working in a fast‑paced and fun environment?
We are high energy so time will fly.
Work with planograms and execute effectively.
Merchandise endcaps.
Ensure merchandising standards are being followed throughout the store.
Work with inventory coordinator and freight room manager to make sure overstocked product gets onto the sales floor.
Assist with executing monthly / weekly sales signage.
Changing out sign kits for on sale items.
Circulate the store and update price tags on the shelf.
Provide a high level of customer service to customers looking for products.
Merchandise seasonal areas of the store as the seasons change.
You’ll restock merchandise displays as needed.
You’ll help unload and put away incoming truck merchandise.
Plan to be on your feet for most of your shift (6 to 8 hours).
You must lift up to 50 lbs.
