Job summary

Innovazi Consulting (Pty) Ltd seeks a Merchandising Assistant for their Pinetown operation in KwaZulu-Natal. The role supports product development, customer orders and tender processes, and coordinates fabric procurement, sampling, approvals and testing.

You will maintain critical path timelines, assist with fabric sourcing and supplier coordination, and track shipments and documentation to ensure on-time delivery. Strong organisation and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Experience in clothing, textile, sourcing or merchandising is advantageous.
• Understanding of garment manufacturing and product development processes.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support product development, customer orders and tender processes.
• Coordinate fabric and trim procurement, sampling, approvals and testing.
• Maintain critical path timelines and update systems.
• Assist with fabric sourcing and supplier coordination.
• Track shipments, documentation and approvals for on-time delivery.
• Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, mills and customers.
