Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited is looking for a store staff member at the Dolphin Coast/Ballito location to maintain shelves, rotate stock, and support stocktaking efforts. The role emphasizes timely replenishment, accurate planograms, and adherence to store standards.

You will work to ensure products are correctly displayed, within sell-by dates, and readily available to customers, with FIFO rotation and regular stock counts supported by the team.

Qualifications

• Stock replenishment and shelf presence on the shop floor.
• Rotate stock using FIFO principles.
• Maintain full range and planograms.
• Report damaged or expired stock to management.
• Assist with regular stock counts.

Responsibilities

• Restock merchandise to maximise sales on the shop floor.
• Ensure stock from storeroom is stored and packed in the correct space timeously.
• Keep shelves with products in the correct sell-by date and in full range.
• Facilitate rotation of stock on a regular FIFO basis.
• Report low stock levels and expired stock to management.
• Assist with counting stock files and general stocktaking.
• Adhere to store operating standards and planograms.
• Flatten boxes after unpacking and move to designated area.
