Job summary

homechoice is a leading South African homeware retailer seeking an analytics-driven role to shape sales and buy plans. You will analyse sales data, forecast demand, and collaborate with buyers to optimize categories and profitability across e-commerce and in-store channels.

With a 3-5 year retail background and strong Excel skills, you will build supplier relationships and drive initiatives that align with our strategy and delight customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Science/BCom/BSc
• 3-5 years of retail experience (e-commerce is preferable)
• MS Office proficiency, especially Excel

Responsibilities

• Analyse sales and other metrics to create realistic sales and buy plans.
• Forecast and reproject sales, margin and stock to maximise profitability.
• Collaborate with buyers to deliver products aligned with category strategies and meet price point, sales and margin targets.
• Maintain beneficial supplier relationships according to SLAs.
• Collaborate with teams across the business to deliver on big ideas that delight customers.

What you'll need to do this role
