A prominent fashion retailer is seeking a skilled individual for a role in Buying/Planning at their Head Office in Cape Town. The Planner will be responsible for developing and managing merchandise planning to maximize profitability and efficiency across stores. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years' experience in fashion retail, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with relevant systems. This dynamic role demands someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Truworths has an opportunity for you to work with our Buying/Planning teams using the latest industry merchandise systems. The individual would be involved in sales forecasting, financial and strategic product management skills to effectively trade product. The role will be based at our Head Office in Cape Town, and would appeal to a skilled performer who enjoys complex problem-solving and is solution-orientated.
Drawing on your well-honed fashion planning skills, your role will be to develop, implement and control all aspects of merchandise planning to ensure the profitability and efficient servicing of our stores. The Planner plays a key role in the execution of product from inception to delivery. The role requires the individual to collaborate with all parts of the business e.g. distribution, store design, etc.
