A recruitment agency is looking for a Secretary/Administrator to provide remote support to a Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist based in Europe. Overview

Fantastic opportunity to provide remote support within a progressive, tech-savvy team, to a Child / Adolescent Psychiatrist based in Europe.

Responsibilities
  • Diary Management – Schedule and coordinate appointments
  • Maintain and update patient records
  • Upload patient notes, communication and reports into the electronic record
  • Ensure information on the record and consent forms are up to date, accurate and complete
  • Manage referral streams: GP letters, referrals to other specialists, reports/motivations to medical insurances
  • Patient liaison: completion of forms as required
  • Draft and format letters and reports
  • Coordinate communication to patients in crisis (supporting consultant as required to manage associated risk)
  • Facilitate and prepare prescriptions for the consultant and the patient
  • Send medication handouts and dosage instructions for medication
  • Facilitate assessment processes
  • (Quotes, initiation, appointments, reports)
  • Maintain total confidentiality of personal and financial data
  • Uphold data protection principles
  • Assist with reception telephones when the receptionist/information desk is unavailable
  • Assist with typing when the typist is unavailable
  • Perform other administrative tasks as may be required from time to time
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 a prerequisite; further tertiary training preferred
  • Tech-savvy and able to confidently navigate systems (good MS Office, preferably exposure to medical systems)
  • Previous proven experience as a Secretary / Administrator or PA within a medical environment
  • Ability to converse in both English and Afrikaans
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Mature demeanour
  • Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Accustomed to operating in a digital / paperless context
  • Ability to operate in a remote / hybrid environment
