Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific or clinical field.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with national and regional KOLs and thought leaders.
• Deliver scientific and clinical presentations on company products, therapeutic areas, and relevant research to healthcare professionals.
• Gather and synthesize information on unmet medical needs, emerging scientific trends, and competitive intelligence from scientific exchange.
• Support the clinical development strategy by providing scientific expertise and insights from field-based interactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including clinical development, medical affairs, and marketing, to ensure aligned scientific communication.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare providers in a timely and accurate manner.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly knowledgeable and articulate Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve the Rustenburg area. In this critical role, you will be the scientific and clinical expert for our client's innovative therapeutic areas, engaging with key opinion leaders (KOLs), investigators, and healthcare professionals. You will foster scientific exchange, provide in-depth clinical information, and gather insights to support research and development initiatives. This field-based position requires extensive travel within the assigned region and a deep understanding of complex medical and scientific information, making it a key strategic role within our client's medical affairs department.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proven ability to engage effectively with Key Opinion Leaders and communicate complex scientific data.
• Extensive knowledge of the designated therapeutic area(s).
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned geographical territory.
