Overview

Leading supplier of medical / Rep for the Pretoria region. Individuals who apply must live in Pretoria area and be fluent in Engilsh and Afrikaans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain current business and seek new opportunities in the Pretoria territory.
• Sales and marketing of all products in the designated range.
• Attend theatre cases to learn, develop, and apply this learning in a theatre environment and provide technical support in the operating theatre when required.
• Ensure full compliance during any hospital procedure, the SAMED code of conduct & CRICE.
• Prepare, review, and update surgeon preference lists including quotes.
• Develop knowledge of how to conduct customer calls to drive business growth.
• Lead the development of existing and new accounts.
• Plan and coordinate sales calls and strategies.
• Ongoing training of surgeons, registrars, and theatre staff.
• Activities should satisfy quantitative and qualitative objectives set out in the annual sales plan for the territory.

Qualifications

• BSc Degree in Human Movement Science / Health Sciences / Human Anatomy / Sports Science / Physotherapist / Biokineticist etc.
• Minimum of 3 - 6 years working experience as a Medical Device Sales Representative or proven industry experience with above qualification.
• CRICE Certified.
• Fluency in Afrikaans and English a necessity.
• A high quality of communication, planning and time management skills required.
• Good relationship building, networking, coaching, facilitating and feedback skills.
• Valid code 08 driver’s license & own reliable vehicle.
• Able to work afterhours.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office package including Outlook.
• Must be fully vaccinated against Hepatitis B (or start process at start of employment).
• Must reside in Pretoria.
