📍 Randburg | R21 500 CTC | Immediate Start

We are looking for a professional, patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our busy ophthalmology practice. The ideal candidate will be confident in handling high patient volumes, have excellent communication skills, and be proficient in GoodX. Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist patients with professionalism and care
• Manage inbound / outbound calls, patient bookings, and diary scheduling
• Capture and update patient information accurately on GoodX
• Process authorisations and maintain up-to-date records
• Assist with coordinating patient flow for a high-volume specialist clinic
• Provide administrative support to the doctors and medical team
• Maintain a calm and efficient reception area under pressure

Requirements

• Previous experience as a medical receptionist (ophthalmology experience an advantage)
• Proficiency in GoodX is essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced environment
• Well-presented, detail-oriented, and a team player
