Medical Receptionist • Location: Fourways (A7 Health) • Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our Fourways branch. This role goes beyond front desk duties – as the first point of contact, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations, accurate administration, and an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities: Patient Care Excellence: Manage patient bookings, ensure smooth patient flow, handle queries, and maintain high levels of customer service. Billing & Reporting: Oversee billing accuracy, prepare medical aid reports, and support financial controls. Administration & Data: Capture and store patient information accurately in line with legal and ethical standards. Operations Support: Assist with consumables, petty cash, IT, stock, payroll support, and practice upkeep. Team Support: Encourage positive team culture, assist with meetings and team wellness activities. Training & Development: Assist with onboarding, training, and supporting staff with policies and.

What We're Looking For: Skills & Competencies: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage tasks, deadlines, and priorities effectively. Excellent organizational and administrative abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Cloud, and booking systems (Elixir / TBC an advantage). Knowledge & Attributes: Previous experience in a medical or dental practice highly advantageous. Understanding of medical billing, patient confidentiality, and ethical practice.
