Job summary

Requirements
  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent. Organising skills, Analytical thinking skills, Problem solving and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain discipline, Ability to work under pressure. Ability to work independently and in a team. Must be prepared to engage in intensive labour practices. Ability to act with tact and discretion. Must be self-motivated. Ability to handle tasks of multidisciplinary nature. Good customer skills and competencies. Knowledge of labour relations processes. Have knowledge of general shoe repairs, Welding, Sewing and leather work will be an added advantage. Practical interview will also be an added advantage.
Duties
  • Do metalworks (e.g. Welding, bending, grinding and spray painting) Do Leatherwork. Do shoe modifications, Special insoles, Do Plastic work, maintain orthoses and Machinery, Comply with OHS standards, Attend training. Comply with PMDS requirements. Register with HPCSA.
