Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Medical Esthetician & Laser Technician in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. The role is hybrid, balancing on-site treatments with potential remote admin tasks.

You will perform medical-grade esthetic treatments and operate laser devices, while developing personalized plans and ensuring patient safety. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of experience, a qualification in Esthetics or Somatology, and strong knowledge of skin physiology.

Qualifications

• Must have recognized qualification in Esthetics or Somatology.
• Professional certification in operating medical-grade laser and energy-based devices.
• Minimum 5 years experience as Medical Esthetician and Laser Technician.
• Strong understanding of skin anatomy, physiology and dermatological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical-grade esthetic treatments (chemical peels, microdermabrasion, advanced facials).
• Operate and maintain laser and energy-based devices for hair removal, skin rejuvenation, tattoo removal, body contouring.
• Conduct thorough patient consultations to assess skin conditions and discuss options.
• Develop personalized treatment plans for individual patient needs.
• Educate patients on pre- and post-care and home care products.
• Ensure safety protocols, hygiene standards and regulatory requirements are followed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and stay updated on new aesthetic technologies.
• Assist with administrative tasks and contribute to a positive clinic atmosphere.
