We, in partnership with a financial services firm based in Rosebank, are looking for a driven and experienced Medical Aid Specialist to join our team.

This role involves working closely with a steady lead source to underwrite and sell medical aid and other short-term insurance products. The ideal candidate will focus on servicing qualified leads, building lasting client relationships, and growing their own book of business, with a strong emphasis on medical aid products.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Engage and follow up on qualified leads provided by the business.
  • Underwrite and sell medical aid and short-term insurance products.
  • Build and manage your own client portfolio over time.
  • Conduct client meetings (both in-office and offsite).
  • Provide professional, compliant, and client-focused service.

Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Must be off supervision and licensed to provide medical aid services.
  • Must have the appropriate Category I authorisation under long‑term insurance and Category I (short‑term insurance) for a registered Financial Services Provider (FSP).
  • A proven track record in medical aid sales and servicing.
  • Own transport or comfortable using reliable transport to meet clients.
  • Willingness to travel to client meetings.
Package & Remuneration
