We are seeking a Medical Accounts Administrator for a permanent role based in East London Eastern Cape.

Duties & Responsibilities

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria :

  • Grade 12 with proven experience in a medical administration / healthcare related finance role (non-negotiable)
  • Solid knowledge of medical aids billing systems and claim processes
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Previous experience in debt recovery or a similar field beneficial
  • Proficiency in office software and medical administrative tools

The s uccessful applicant would be responsible for but not limited to :

  • General administrative duties including managing patient records filing and office coordination
  • Phone communication with patients and medical aid providers to follow up on outstanding debts
  • Liaise with medical aids to query and resolve claims issues
  • Assisting with payment tracking from patients and medical aids
  • Respond to inquiries from patients medical aids and healthcare professionals
