Job summary

A leading academic institution seeks a Technical Support Specialist to provide support to the Mechatronics Department. Candidates should possess an M+3 degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics, with at least three years of relevant experience. Preference for candidates registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electronic communication systems, and digital measuring equipment.
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and maintenance of communication equipment.
• Coordinate undergraduate practicals with technicians.
• Assist academic staff with practical assignments and troubleshooting.
