Our client, a well-established and progressive FMCG manufacturing company, based in Paarl, seeks to employ a qualified, organized and experienced Mechatronics Engineer, who has a background in the Electro-mechanical systems used in a fast paced FMCG environment.

Please note this role is suited to a candidate, who has a strong electro-mechanical and electrical designs and PLC programming background.

KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION :

• You will have completed a BEng or BSc degree in Mechatronics, coupled with 1-3 years experience in Electro-Mechanical and Electrical designs, as well as PLC programming (Siemens) and providing supervision at installation and commissioning phase.
• You will have a solid track record in providing technical support and training for customers, as well as being available to problem solve with field technicians.
• You must have working experience on servo drives in particular.
• Due to the requirement to travel extensively, both nationally and internationally.
• You must have a valid driver's license, a clear credit and criminal record and your own reliable vehicle.
