Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Mechanical Project Engineer to contribute to their growing renewable energy division in Stellenbosch. This role covers from conception to completion of wind and solar projects, involving site assessment, design reviews, procurement, and installation oversight.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project engineering, preferably in renewable energy (wind, solar).
• Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, structural principles, and site operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
