We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Mechanical Project Engineer to join a growing multidisciplinary engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical or electrical engineering (BSc / BTech) and proven experience managing projects in mineral processing, food & beverage, light industrial or building services environments.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate mechanical (and some electrical) project scopes from concept through to commissioning.
• Engage directly with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee and support the fit-out of entertainment venues across South Africa.
• Provide project engineering support for mineral processing projects and related sectors.
• Monitor project progress, budgets and timelines to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings and specifications.

Requirements

• BSc or BTech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years project engineering experience in relevant industries (mineral processing, food & beverage, light industry or building services).
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Hands‑on project management experience with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
• Willingness to travel nationally for site work and client meetings.
