Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a Mechanical Artisan Assistant/Mechanical workshop environment.
• Basic knowledge on hand & machining tools.
• Training from a recognized training school/center or fitter & turner trade is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in the Mechanical Maintenance team.
• Do general maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Repair and secure loose guards.
• Inspect guards to ensure they are intact.
• Cut required material on power saw according to procedure.
• Inspect plant equipment and report failures.
• Service plant equipment as scheduled.
