Job summary

A leading water utility provider is seeking a Mechanical Artisan Supervisor to oversee the maintenance of plant and machinery and ensure efficient water supply to customers. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of mechanical experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role. Strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and leadership are essential. This role entails managing staff, compliance with procedures, and ensuring the reliability of mechanical systems. A trade test qualification and knowledge of SAP are preferred.

Qualifications

• 7 years of post-apprenticeship experience as a mechanical artisan, with 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of SAP and MAXIMO is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal availability and reliability of plant and machinery.
• Manage staff and activities within the maintenance mechanical workshop.
• Manage attendance and utilization of staff, along with training and mentoring.
