Job Opportunity : Mechanical CNC Operator / Designer for CNC MachineryCompany : Mechanical and Electrical Engineering FirmLocation : Lanseria, JohannesburgSalary : Market-related CTC (dependent on experience)Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical CNC Operator / Designer with expertise in operating CNC machinery and tool pathing.

This role requires a hands-on professional capable of designing, developing, and commissioning machinery solutions.Requirements : Travel : Willingness to travel within South Africa and Africa; valid passport required (includes L.O.A.).

Transport : Driver's license and reliable transport to work (Lanseria, Randburg).

Experience : Minimum of 3+ years in : CNC machine setup and operation (lathes, milling machines, laser cutter).

Tool pathing and design / development.Creating tool paths from SolidWorks / CAD files.Preferred Skills and Experience (Advantageous) : Exposure to the food and beverage packaging industry.Experience in developing, designing, and manufacturing machine change parts.Reverse engineering capabilities.Proficiency in : Receiving parts, creating CAD drawings (Inventor / SolidWorks), developing tool paths, generating G-Code, and working with Mach 4 or Fanuc controllers.4-axis machining and CNC routers.Conveyor and machine change part development.Designing and installing packaging machinery.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.90% of machining involves working with stainless steel (S / S) and UHDPE using 3 and 4-axis CNC lathes and routers.

Role Responsibilities : Active involvement in projects : design, development, installation, training, and commissioning.Labour management : complete timesheets, job dockets, and provide accurate information.Follow up on orders and deliveries.Clear communication at all levels (verbal and written).
