Responsibilities
  • Facilitate interactive mathematics tutorials, workshops, and lectures aligned with the curriculum.
  • Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and activities to accommodate diverse learning needs.
  • Assist students in understanding key mathematical concepts across various disciplines (e.g., algebra, calculus, statistics, or applied mathematics).
  • Evaluate and assess student progress through formative and summative methods.
  • Collaborate with faculty interdisciplinary academic initiatives.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in teaching mathematics at a tertiary or secondary level.
  • Familiarity with tutoring or facilitating in a university environment (advantageous).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse student groups.
