Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematical Literacy (Grades 10–12) in alignment with the IEB curriculum.
- Develop engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments.
- Prepare students for IEB assessments and internal school examinations.
- Track and report on learner progress, providing academic support as needed.
- Participate in subject moderation, curriculum development, and departmental planning.
- Encourage critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and real-world application of concepts.
- Uphold the school's values and actively participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development.
Qualifications and Experience
- A PGCE or equivalent professional teaching qualification (SACE registered).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably within an IEB school.
- Proven track record in preparing learners for Grade 12 IEB examinations.
- Familiarity with Jewish values and the ethos of Torah Academy (advantageous).
