Mintek’s Mthatha R&D team seeks an Advanced Materials Development Engineer to design next-generation materials for industrial applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate breakthroughs into scalable solutions and work in state-of-the-art labs with international partners.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science or Metallurgical Engineering, 3–5 years in materials development, and a track record in high-performance alloys or composites.

Competenze

• 3–5 years in materials development, preferably in R&D environments.
• Experience in aerospace or renewable energy sectors is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in related field required; advanced degrees beneficial.
