Raw Material Quality Assurance Specialist

Are you passionate about ensuring the quality and availability of raw materials in a fast-paced food processing environment?

Duties & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and approve new raw materials, including paperwork and samples
• Prioritize existing raw materials for testing in the lab
• Troubleshoot existing raw materials and update specifications as needed
• Coordinate raw material sampling and irradiated material releasing
• Prepare raw materials for external testing according to the analysis program
• Collaborate with other departments on new raw material purchases
• Assist other roles in the department as required
• Evaluate new raw materials against legislative, food safety, and internal requirements
• Make decisions on deviating raw materials received
• Ensure accurate decisions on raw materials to prevent product rejection, production downtimes, customer complaints, and food safety issues
• Work in a high-pressure environment connected to production outputs and decision-making on deviating raw materials

Desired Experience & Qualification

• B.Sc Food Science
• B.Tech Chemistry
• Knowledge and Experience 3-5 years' working experience in a related field
