Job summary

A leading retail and pharmacy group in Roodepoort is seeking a Master Data Assistant to ensure data accuracy and compliance. Responsibilities include data cleaning, updating pricing, and maintaining vendor records in SAP. Candidates should have a matric equivalent and a relevant diploma, plus 1-3 years' experience in data management within the pharmaceutical sector.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Matric equivalent, diploma in finance or IT.
  • 1-3 years experience in data integrity and capturing.
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy and updates of master data in the system.
  • Capture new materials and maintain existing vendor records.
  • Update all pricing and product dimensions in SAP.

Clicks GroupIntroductionWe are looking to recruit 2 permanent Master Data Assistants to work for United Pharmaceutical Distributors (UPD).

Job Purpose

The role will be based in Lea Glen, Roodepoort reporting to the Master Data Compliance Officer. The main purpose of master data is to provide a consistent and accurate set of core data that is essential for an organization's operations.

Key Performance Areas

Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, consistency and timeliness of master data.

This includes regular data cleaning, maintenance, validation and enrichment.

Quality Outputs of the Job
  • Ensure that New Materials / Products are accurately captured on time for scheduled and non-scheduled items.
  • Ensure that the correct nappi codes, barcodes and supplier material codes are updated on the system accurately and on time.
  • Ensure that materials are extended to all storage locations.
  • Create and maintain Purchasing Info Records.
  • Load new and maintain existing trade and non-trade vendors.
  • Condition Contracts on the system as well as customer accounts.
  • Update verified information provided by the suppliers and customers to ensure regulatory and legal compliance.
  • Update all SEP Pricing for scheduled products as per the DOH.
  • Update all Non-Scheduled material pricing as per the Supplier Price File, as well as loading deals.
  • Maintain product dimensions' data on SAP Systems.

Minimum Education and Qualification

Matric equivalent. A Diploma (NQF Level 6) in a relevant field such as Finance, Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Information Technology.

SAP Exposure

On-the-job training, short courses, or entry-level SAP certifications. SAP system Knowledge is an advantage (1-3 years).

Experience

Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.

Experience in Data Integrity and Capturing. 1-3 years office admin management of technical or business data systems.
