Role Purpose, Responsible for managing and maintaining the full Master Data function of all entities on the ERP system. These include LSA, other African countries including other entities. Further value adding requirement by continuous process automation and improvement in the master data department
Requirements
- A 3-year related qualification
- At least 3 to 5 years post qualification experience in a master data/financial function, preferably in a corporate environment within FMCG
- ERP/SAP system experience, especially master data modules
- A resilient individual with excellent interpersonal and clear communication skills
- Result driven, business acumen and good decision-making
- Strong leadership as well as project management skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Pivots/BI Cubes)
- Prospective candidates must provide clear evidence of work experience, relevant certification or qualifications
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implementation and maintaining of standard policies, procedures and controls
- Create, validate and maintain core master data - Customer Master, Vendor Master and Item Master
- Maintain Sales Prices for new NPD's and for PI's
- Maintain Deals/Promotion System and assist with support and training
- Bar coding (EAN) maintenance
- Monitor, measure and improve the quality of master data
- Monitor and develop process flow procedures to ensure accuracy, completeness and proper validation of master data
- Support all business areas to assist and understand shareholder requirements
- Provide training and key user support on master data related structures to all Lactalis sites
- Meeting of Audit and Corporate Governance requirements
- Compliance to all relevant legislation
- Cross-functional interaction (AA countries and SA sites, all HO departments)
- Maintaining & improving relevant structures, processes, documentation and procedures within Master data
- Full support with all new system implementations
- Management of staff when relevant
